Dr Alex Bulat

Dr Alex Bulat has spent over a decade working on academic and third sector policy research on various topical issues, from migration and asylum, democratic reform and Brexit policy. She has worked with Labour MPs as a policy advisor in a cross-party team at RAMP. One of her areas of focus is the intersection between UK domestic policy on migration, international aid and development. She is the co-founder of Migrant Democracy Project, a non-profit leading in the democratic reform sector in the UK. Alex is a Labour and Co-Operative County Councillor in Cambridgeshire and a former Parliamentary Candidate in her home seat of Huntingdon. Alex has a PhD in Political Sociology from University College London and was part of CGP's Future Leaders' Programme.
