The Global Britain Summit

Wednesday 8th February 2023 | RSA House, Westminster

We are at a critical global juncture: the world continues to witness the erosion of democratic freedoms, women and girls are being deprived of their rights and opportunities, and rising temperatures are impacting global weather, food production and water resources. At a time when the UK’s role as a world leader could not be more important, the Coalition for Global Prosperity was delighted to host The Global Britain Summit on 8th February 2023 at RSA House, Westminster.

“The values that are at stake are our values, and if we’re not defending them where they are being challenged today, we’ll end up defending them later, closer to home, and at a higher cost.”

Kurt Volker, U.S. Ambassador to NATO (2008-2009) and U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine (2017-2019)

“We will continue to deliver honest, reliable investment, alleviate suffering and tackle shared global challenges.”

The Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP, Minister for Development and Africa

The full-day conference explored how Britain can continue to be a leading force for good in the world through a series of panels discussing the biggest challenges of our time, covering topics like the war in Ukraine, the impact of climate change on international security, reduced trade barriers as a tool to lift people out of poverty, and women and girls’ special ability to accelerate global development.
