Eliot Wilson
Senior Fellow
Eliot was a clerk in the House of Commons from 2005 to 2016; during this time he worked on the Defence Committee and the Home Affairs Sub-Committee on Counter-Terrorism, and managed the UK delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
He is a writer and commentator on politics, defence, international affairs and national security, writes a weekly column for City A.M. and is Contributing Editor at Defence on the Brink.
He also contributes regularly to The Spectator, The Hill, The i Paper, CapX and The Daily Telegraph. He blogs regularly at The Ideas Lab.
Sam Goodman

Sam Goodman is the Senior Policy Director of the China Strategic Risks Institute, Co-Chair and Co-Founder of the New Diplomacy Project, a former Political Advisor to the Labour Party, an advisory board member of Hong Kong Watch, and the author of the Imperial Premiership the role of the modern prime minister in foreign policymaking from 1964-2015 (Manchester University Press, 2016).
Sam regularly offers analysis on UK-China relations and has appeared on BBC News, Sky News, Times Radio, and LBC Radio. He is regularly quoted in media outlets ranging from Bloomberg, the Guardian, to the Financial Times.
