Emily Maister
Emily Maister is a policy and strategic communications expert with over a decade of experience at the frontline of UK politics. She served as a Special Adviser for over four years, including to Prime Minister Boris Johnson at 10 Downing Street in the Political Unit where she briefed the Prime Minister and his Cabinet ahead of all media appearances, including Prime Minister’s Questions. Emily also served as Special Adviser to the Secretary of State at the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government, Michael Gove, and to the Conservative Party Chairman, Amanda Milling.
Before entering government, Emily spent five years at the Conservative Campaign Headquarters and in the Political Unit of the Conservative Research Department, working on local, mayoral and national campaigns. Her campaign work was recognised nationally with a Campaign Manager of the Year award.
Emily is now a Senior Associate at Schillings Communications, helping individuals and global businesses navigate high-stakes threats and opportunities. Emily was previously part of the Coalition for Global Prosperity's Future Leaders programme, and also sits on the Advisory Board for Conservative Networks.
