Max Holley

Public Affairs Assistant

Max joined CGP in May 2026 as our Public Affairs Assistant. He has experience in stakeholder engagement and communications within the planning and development sector, where he established a strong cross-party network across Local Government.

He holds an MPhil and BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge, where he studied as a Cambridge Trust Scholar.

His academic research took him to Nairobi to examine the intersection of emerging financial technologies, economic inequality, and the Gen-Z led Finance Bill Protests in Kenya. He has further conducted research into China's Belt and Road Initiative in East Africa, with particular focus on Kenya's “Madaraka Express” SGR railway.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Max has volunteered with several international development start-ups and is active in local politics.
