Future Leaders Policy Retreat at Windsor Castle

The Coalition for Global Prosperity was delighted to host the first Policy Retreat at St George’s House, Windsor Castle last week as part of our Future Leaders Programme. Over the course of two days, the future leaders heard from experts in the fields of defence, security, diplomacy and development and learned more about the role international development plays in UK foreign policy.

Speakers included the former head of the Secret Intelligence Service, a former director of GCHQ, a former National Security Advisor, the former United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, a former UK Permanent Representative to the UN, a serving senior military leader, representatives of some of the UK’s leading INGOs, a speechwriter to two UK Prime Ministers, a senior Namibian official, and a senior US Government official, and a professor of China studies at the University of Oxford.
