Ryan Henson

Chief Executive Officer

Ryan Henson is Chief Executive at the Coalition for Global Prosperity, advocating for UK leadership in international development, defence and diplomacy.

Prior to joining the Coalition, Ryan worked at the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD), the UK Parliament and Civil Service, and was a founding trustee of a social mobility charity. He also served as a UK Government Social Mobility Commissioner 2022-2026.

Ryan holds a first-class degree in History and an MA in Modern and Contemporary British History, awarded via full academic scholarship, from Queen Mary University of London, where he is completing a PhD exploring political leadership, and the public image of President Bill Clinton.

Ryan is a British-American Project Fellow, a Postgraduate Member of the Royal Historical Society, and an Associate Fellow of Bright Blue.
