Ryan Henson

Chief Executive Officer

Ryan is Chief Executive at the Coalition for Global Prosperity, advocating for UK leadership in international development, defence and diplomacy. He also serves as a UK Government Social Mobility Commissioner.

Prior to joining the Coalition, Ryan worked at the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD), the UK Parliament and Civil Service, and was a founding trustee of a social mobility charity.

Ryan holds a first-class degree in History and an MA in Modern and Contemporary British History, awarded via full academic scholarship, from Queen Mary University of London, where he is currently completing a PhD exploring political leadership, public image, and the public career of President Bill Clinton.

Ryan is a British-American Project Fellow, a Postgraduate Member of the Royal Historical Society, and an Associate Fellow of Bright Blue.
