The Westminster launch of Promising Development: The Future of Aid in an Uncertain World - a new essay collection from the Fabian Society and the Labour Campaign for International Development, supported by Save the Children UK and the Betterworld Foundation.

At a time when the postwar international order is breaking down - and with it, the international aid system - this essay collection brings together leading politicians and NGO leaders to explore how we can maximise the impact of aid today and rebuild political support for international development for the future. ​​

Co-hosted with the Coalition for Global Prosperity, the event featured short speeches, including a keynote address from the Rt Hon David Miliband, President and CEO of the International Rescue Committee and former Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom.
