The post-Cold War era has come to an end. As great power competition reshapes the international landscape, the assumptions that have underpinned Western foreign policy for decades no longer hold. Centre-right parties across Britain and Europe must respond to this fundamental shift. But how?
A new report from the Coalition for Global Prosperity and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung UK & Ireland presents a framework for a more assertive and proactive foreign policy—one that enables the West to out-compete and out-cooperate strategic competitors like Russia and China, to shape an international system based on democracy, liberty and rule of law.
The discussion will be joined by Jürgen Hardt MdB, Foreign Policy Spokesperson of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag, with additional speakers to be confirmed.
The discussion will be followed by a drinks reception.
