Modern Slavery in a New Era of Instability with Rosie Wrighting MP

To mark the launch of the Coalition for Global Prosperity’s new report, we are convening policymakers, civil society leaders, and business representatives to reflect on the UK’s progress in the ten years since the Modern Slavery Act was passed. Rosie Wrighting, MP for Kettering and member of the Business and Trade Committee, will join us alongside voices from business and frontline care to discuss the evolving nature of modern slavery, from shifting global supply chains to the rise of new technologies and growing geopolitical instability.

  • Madeline Fitton MCIPS, Head of Growth, Sodexo, and Chair of the BSA Modern Slavery Council

  • Naomi James-Davis, Global Director, Programme Strategy and Impact at Justice & Care

  • Father Mark Odion, Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales' liaison officer on the Nigerian Anti-Trafficking Project

  • Dame Sara Thornton DBE QPM, Professor of Modern Slavery Policy at the University of Nottingham, former Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner and inaugural Chair of the National Police Chiefs' Council

  • Rosie Wrighting, Member of Parliament for Kettering, and a member of the Business and Trade Committee

Please join us for drinks after the panel to continue the conversation!
